Lake Whitefish
Whitefish have a been a resident of the Great Lakes for hundreds of years, once a sought after fish by some of the most elite in the world. Whitefish have been the target for commercial fisherman for over a hundred years but in recent years they have offered sport fisherman a great opportunity. Because of the changing eco system in Green Bay whitefish have migrated from their traditional habitat in Lake Michigan to Green Bay because of a abundant food source. The Round goby which blankets the bottom of Green Bay has allowed the whitefish a prolific food source and anglers a great sprotfishing opportunity. Whitefish are a very universal fish to prepare and offer a great fight through the ice. Daily limit is 10 fish, with no size restrictions.
